Originally from Taiwan, Roger Tien brings a global perspective shaped by his education at the New York School of Interior Design and his experience at Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Yabu Pushelberg, where he served as Head Designer. His work is distinguished by a refined sense of composition, an appreciation for craftsmanship, and a thoughtful response to place.

A New York native and graduate of the New York School of Interior Design, Talli Levine began her career at Jeffrey Povero Architects before becoming Head of Design at Douglas Elliman Marketing & New Developments. In this role, she led the creative vision for residential developments across the United States, bringing together architecture, interiors, and visual identity. Roger and Talli founded TALLITIEN in 2019, uniting their complementary experiences through a shared design philosophy.

TALLITIEN is a New York–based interior design studio that approaches every project as a layered narrative. The studio begins by studying the history, context, and character of a place, allowing each design to develop its own distinct identity. Material, proportion, color, and light are composed with intention to create spaces that feel sophisticated yet intuitive, restrained yet expressive.

Guided by thoughtful minimalism and a commitment to enduring design, TALLITIEN considers every detail as part of a greater whole. The studio’s work balances creative exploration with clarity and purpose, resulting in environments that are deeply considered, quietly memorable, and inherently human.
